Welcome!

I have worked with with children, youth and families for over a decade, supporting them with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, child-parent attachment, mood regulation, and family functioning, among others. I also have an emerging interest in supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood. In support of this pursuit, I am thrilled to be completing my certification as a Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner™ with Dr. Greer Kirshenbaum (author of the Nurture Revolution), providing me with specialized training in infant and parental neuroscience, infant attachment, nervous system regulation, and infant sleep.

I use an integrative approach to therapy from attachment, cognitive, play-based and collaborative-based frameworks to ensure services are tailored to families’ needs. In all areas of my work, I strive to create a safe and compassionate therapeutic space where you, your child or your family feel supported as we work together towards your unique goals.

Thanks so much for being here. I am a Registered Psychotherapist dedicated to helping parents nurture their children’s emotional wellbeing from the very beginning. I believe that supporting lifelong mental health starts in infancy, and that the earliest relationships lay the foundations for how children grow, connect and thrive. Whether you or your child are navigating pregnancy, infancy, childhood or adolescence, I’m here to support your family’s journey with compassion, evidence-based care and an attachment-focused approach that honours the unique needs of every family.

My Qualifications and Approach

I hold an honours B.A. degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology, both from the University of Ottawa. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and I’m near completion of my certification to become a Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner™.

What is A Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner™?

A Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner™ is someone who has been trained in infant brain development and neurobiology, parental brain development, the neuroscience of early relationships, stress and nervous system development and infant sleep from a neurodevelopmental lens. The training, created and facilitated by neuroscientists Dr. Greer Kirshenbaum (best-selling author of the Nurture Revolution) and Dr. Rocio Zunini, is grounded in peer-reviewed research from developmental neuroscience, attachment science, psychobiology, and stress physiology, and translated into loving and compassionate support for families. At its heart, Nurture Neuroscience™  is about one thing: Supporting sleep, well-being, and early development by nurturing the relationships between babies and their parents or caregivers.
